Nestled among rice paddies and palm trees, The Shala Bali is a tropical haven for your Vegan Fusion retreat. Wake up with a fresh coconut juice in your chic Balinese room and enjoy healing massages and treatments to your hearts content. Each day Lisa  will share her expertise in creating healthful vegan food with hands-on classes in The Shala Bali’s - Villa Kasih kitchen. Yoga / relaxation classes are held in the open air Yoga space overlooking the rice fields.

Seven course dinner - Share in an inspiring gastronomical journey at the stunning bamboo Sakti restaurant, nestled between Bali’s sacred Ayung River and lush tropical ponds and gardens. Sakti is part of the eco-luxurious Five Elements Resort and is well known for their innovative vegan and raw- living foods menu.

Taking one day away from the kitchen we day tour to the beautiful Tampak Siring Water Temple, or Holy Water Temple. This sacred place is well known in Bali for its flowing waters thought to cleanse the spirit and harmonise one with nature.

About Lisa
An Anthropologist, Yogini, herbalist, gardener and Chef, Lisa has been learning about and making raw/vegan food for 15 years. Lisa’s experience spans all areas as cook, baker, kitchen manager and general manager of the famous Blossoming LotusVegan Restaurant and Lotus Root Bakery on Kauai. Lisa has worked along side international vegan Chef Mark Reinfeld of Vegan Fusion for over 10 years as the lead recipe tester for his cook books and as a certified Vegan Fusion Teacher. “My passion is to help people develop a deeper connection to the nature within us and the nature around us through making delicious, fresh foods and simple herbal preparations”.
